Saturn in Revati: A Short Preview of the Final Release

Saturn’s first pass through Revati runs May 17, 2026 through October 9, 2026. Saturn returns to Revati on February 8, 2027, crosses the Pisces–Aries Gandanta on June 2, 2027, then retrogrades back into Revati a second time before stationing direct on December 24, 2027. The 2026 window is the short preview. The 2027 arc is where the final release lands.

Let me say it plainly: Saturn just walked out of his own nakshatra. Since January, Saturn has been camped in Uttarabhadrapada, his own ruling star, working at three times its usual strength on foundations and consolidation. On May 17, Saturn crossed into Revati at 16°40’ Pisces, and the energy shifted. This is not Saturn at home anymore. This is Saturn as a guest in Mercury’s house, presided over by Pushan, the gentle god who guides souls and travelers safely to the next shore. The work does not stop. The texture of the work changes.

Revati is the 27th and final nakshatra, the last 13°20’ of Pisces. Its shakti is Kshiradyapani, the power of nourishment, the milk that sustains the journey. Its animal is the elephant, with the long memory and the patient strength to carry burdens others cannot. Its element is ether, the most subtle of the five, the medium through which completion itself becomes possible. And here is something worth pausing on: Revati rules the feet, and Saturn also rules the feet. When the planet of structure walks through the nakshatra of finishing, it lands precisely on the body part both signify. The transit asks: what are you still standing on, and is it still standing you well?

Treat the 2026 pass as a preview. Saturn will only spend roughly five months in Revati this year, from May 17 until the retrograde station pulls him back into Uttarabhadrapada on October 9. The full arc lands in 2027: Saturn re-enters Revati on February 8, crosses the Pisces–Aries Gandanta on June 2, and then retrogrades back into Revati once more before finally stationing direct on December 24, 2027. Pay attention to what surfaces between now and October. What feels ready to end. What you keep almost finishing. What relationships have become caretaking with no current. These are the rehearsals. The Gandanta crossing in June 2027 is the test.

Pisces and Sagittarius rising will feel this most directly, and Pisces is still in the peak phase of Sade Sati. Saturn is sitting on your ascendant or Moon. The old version of you is being dissolved so a more mature version can emerge. Virgo rising sees Saturn across the seventh, and partnership structures are the testing ground. For everyone else, look to whichever house carries late Pisces in your chart, and ask what needs a clean ending there. The grace in Revati is that the ending does not have to be harsh. Pushan walks alongside you. He does not push. He nourishes the passage. Saturn here will still demand the work, but the texture is gentler than Uttarabhadrapada. Finish well. Do not abandon anyone in the middle of the river.

How to work with it

Saturn governs work, and it responds to getting the work done. The Uttarabhadrapada remedies still apply through this Revati preview: daily meditation, slow grounding exercise, warm and unctuous food to pacify vata, dreams journal by the bed. Add to that the Revati register: small acts of completion. Put the final touches on the thing you have been almost-finishing. Make the phone call you have been putting off. Close the loop you have been keeping open. Revati is the nakshatra of completion. Saturn here will reward exactly that practice.
