1. Jaiphal (Myristicafragrans)

Method Of Preparation
- First prepare Kajjali by triturating purified mercury and purified sulphur.
- Then mix the bhasmas and triturate well into a uniform mass.
- After that, add fine powders of the remaining herbs and give 7 bhavanas (triturations) with Amla (Indian gooseberry) juice.
- Prepare pills of 2–2 ratti each. In other classical texts, it is also referred to as Nripativallabh.

In Conditions Like Enlarged liver or swelling, Poor bile secretion, Improper digestion, White, foul-smelling stools, 3–4 loose motions daily, Presence of small worms in stool, Coated tongue, Alternating constipation and loose stools, Abdominal heaviness, Frequent flatulence. In such types of chronic diarrhea and grahani, this medicine provides excellent relief.
Clinical Use
- Some patients experience intermittent diarrhea; it occurs for a few days and then stops. Digestion remains weak, undigested food appears in stool, recurrent abdominal pain occurs, and the body becomes weak and emaciated. When Ama accumulates excessively, castor oil purgation becomes necessary; otherwise complications arise. Such patients are given RajvallabhRas along with PravalPanchamrit and purified Kutaj (2 ratti).
- In Bahumutra (Frequent urination)-Frequent urination may arise from digestive disturbances. The patient often wakes repeatedly at night to urinate. In severe cases, even during the day urine passes drop by drop with burning sensation. Other symptoms include Yellow urine, Enlarged liver, Cardiac fullness, Constipation, Weakness, Joint pain after eating heavy foods, Body pain. In this condition, Raj VallabhRas strengthens the digestive system and provides relief even in chronic cases. Diet should include only easily digestible food; curd should be avoided. Smoking, if habitual, should be reduced. Initially, the medicine should be given with Trikatu and honey, 2–3 times daily.
- In Amavata (Rheumatoid conditions) -Once Amavata occurs, it may trouble the patient lifelong. Sweet foods or exposure to cold aggravate joint pain. Patients with impure grahani often pass through thin stools. Such patients benefit when RajvallabhRas is given along with 4 ratti of dry ginger powder. If cardiac weakness is present, it should be administered with Kutaj or Abhrak (1–2 ratti).
- In Vata Disorders of Channels- When the channels of vata are disturbed, side pain, heart pain, head pain, and eye pain may arise. If accompanied by abdominal distension, this medicine relieves pain and corrects vata channel disturbances. It may be given with ShringBhasma, asafoetida, and purified Kutaj powder for better results.
