Abstract A partial skeleton of a small reptile with a distinctive maxilla, dentition, caudal vertebrae and osteoderms from the marine Partnach Formation (Ladinian-earliest Carnian) near Jadersdorf (Gitschtal, Hermagor) in the Gailtal Alps of Carinthia (Austria), represents a new archosaur taxon Carinthiasuchus kandutschi gen. n. sp. n.. It is diagnosed by autapomorphies in the anterior process and subnarial foramen of the maxilla, accessory articular processes in the neural arches of mid-distal caudal vertebrae, and shape and arrangement of the caudal osteoderms. It also shows a unique combination of features regarding the extent of the antorbital fossa in the maxilla and the morphology…
2022 has been another great year for biological recording. I’ve seen lots of amazing species, many new for me, but I’ve moved away slightly from the PSL approach. I still enjoy the listing aspect of biological recording but I am taking a more focused approach in terms of taxonomic groups. The vast majority of my additions this year are Diptera and vascular plants with a significant amount of Lepidoptera and very little of anything else. Still, I’ve added 581 new species, starting the year on 5241 and ending on 5822. Below is a breakdown of some of my highlights of…
This article contains my fleshed out thoughts on why Bigfoot/Sasquatch are so hard to find. I’ve said on numerous occasions that looking for Bigfoot isn’t like trying to find a needle in a haystack, it’s like looking for a moving needle (that doesn’t want to be found) in a whole field of hay. Lost in the Wilderness: Ten of the Most Famous Missing Aircraft Mysteries of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska The vast wilderness of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska is among the most beautiful and unforgiving landscapes on Earth. Towering mountain ranges, endless forests, massive glaciers, and remote coastlines…
Mercury/Vesta creates difficulties with talking about feelings or mentally acknowledging needs/vulnerabilities within yourself. Vesta’s absolute focus on assertiveness and independence triggers a block that’s difficult to push past. Something that demands separation from what’s comfortable is claiming your attention – this is the flame you must feed. But it shuts down all words and thoughts of the past, home, safety, tenderness.Use the tension to confront issues around neediness, certain parental dynamics or leaving the nest. It’s not “weak” to acknowledge what you need but when this conflicts with a fresh surge of adventure/wilfulness, it’s more productive to openly discuss this…
March 27, 2024 In a world where we taught that great sex is something that only happens for 20 year olds in college, sex can take a back burner until one day we watch a movie or see a couple making out and remember- DAMN- I used to do that, too! While boosting your libido is linked to being relaxed and being turned into your pleasure blueprint, there are times when we need a little kickstart to get excited again. While Ayurvedic herbs for libido, like we use in our Lust formula, are an excellent way to increase natural libido…
Let’s learn from a failure or a bad experience and never repeat the same mistake. Every setback and bad situation in life teaches you something. Growth doesn’t occur in comfort. You need to come out of your comfort zone to bring something great happen in your life. Take it as an opportunity to train your mind- to be stronger, more resilient, and more equipped – to be able to deal with things that life throws at you. There’s a Chinese idiom – “A frog in the well” – which points out towards such people who can’t / don’t see the bigger picture around because…
Lately, I have been reading a lot on LinkedIn about learning for employees with AI, from various angles on how to achieve it. A report conducted by a research firm (which shall not be named) found in essence that their respondents found the LMS no longer needed, and dropping – i.e., looking for alternatives – and out with the LMS (where have we heard this before?). To be clear, the majority of learning systems are really an LMS – a learning management system – which, to go to the basics, provides content for learners (whoever they are), and the ability…
From the NoTricksZone By Kenneth Richard on 4. June 2026 “Unlike dispatchable fossil-fuel or nuclear generation, solar and wind power output varies unpredictably with weather conditions, leading to mismatches between supply and demand.” — Sargentis et al., 2026 New research utilizes stochastic analysis to assess the effectiveness of renewable energy sources (RES) in satisfying energy demands in Greece. Results indicate solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind power only meet annual energy demands 32% and 44% of the time, respectively. When electricity is needed to heat or cool a home, wind and solar power cannot deliver most of the time. Furthermore, a greater penetration of RES is known…
Cordoba is famous for its beautiful patios and courtyards, and even has a Patio Festival every year, where many private residences will open their doors to the public to show off their blooming patios. It is a source of pride to many of the people in Cordoba, and the door of many buildings are left open during the day so passerbys can admire the may courtyards dotting the historic old town. The patios of Cordoba and Andalusia in general, show the strong influence of the Moorish occupation that lasted in Spain until 1492, when Granada was the last city to…
Fifteen Pan troglodytes at the Wolfgang Köhler Primate Research Centre in Leipzig were given sticks and a pool of yogurt. The sticks held up a transparent lid over the pool. Pull a stick out, use it to eat. But if all the sticks were removed, the lid fell shut — the yogurt was gone, and the trial was over. No stick-sharing, no turn-taking protocol, no rules. Just chimpanzees and an apparatus designed to reproduce one of the oldest problems in collective behavior: the tragedy of the commons. The setup is elegant in its simplicity. Each individual has an incentive to extract…
Every week brings a different lesson from the cosmos. This one asks us to slow down, listen to our intuition, and think carefully about the stories we believe. With Mercury entering Cancer and several significant aspects unfolding throughout the week, emotions are informing decisions more than logic.Contributing astrologer Lisa Stardust breaks down the week ahead for each zodiac sign below. The week ahead focuses on how we communicate with others. We are working on being realistic with our aspirations, even though we don’t want to be pragmatic. The major astrological aspects of the week encourage this behavior: June 1: Mercury enters…
यत् भावो तत् भवति–We are what we think or whatever is in our thoughts is what happens. This is the power of our amazing mind. Our mind is influenced by various factors both internal and external leading to differences in personalities, thoughts and emotion processes and psychological conditions or disorders as well. The environment around us is fully polluted in the recent times leading to fogs, smogs, etc in major cities in the world. Similarly the overload of information from various sources around us leads to fogging of our brain leading to loss of clarity of thoughts, anxiety, fears etc.,…

Travel television often faces a difficult challenge: how do you make viewers see familiar places with fresh eyes? In Best in the World with Antoni Porowski, executive producer Nic Patten and his team sought to do exactly that. Rather than treating London, New York, Paris, and Mexico City as collections of landmarks and bucket-list attractions, the series explores them through the people, traditions, and evolving cultural identities that give each city its character. Guided by Porowski’s curiosity and talent for conversation, the show looks beyond postcard imagery to uncover stories of immigration, reinvention, heritage, and community. In this conversation, Patten…
Tweet Karst in Aurora do Tocantins, central Brazil comprising highly dissected outcrops with open vegetation, and collapsed forested margins. Credits, Alex Monro. I have been interested in karst since a child. My Grandparents lived at the foot of a large outcrop in France where I spent much of my holidays exploring for insects, rocks and plants. Through my work on nettles, a group of plants very diverse on karst, I have come to think of karst as a forgotten domain for plants. One that has received little focus from botanists. Karst is weathered limestone, a rock produced from the shells…

Everyone who ever changed their life or laid claim to their own destiny began by surrendering to two words: Not This. It’s okay if you don’t know yet what happens next. You just have to be honest about what your deepest truth is telling you, which is: Not This. If that’s what your body, heart and soul are trying to tell you: Listen. ~ Elizabeth GilbertThere are a few interesting transits this coming week to take note of. Perhaps the one to watch most is Uranus at the bending (square 90º angle) of the Nodes, which perfects on June 12th.…
Ayurvedic herbs for disease management. Ayurveda is a traditional medical system with Indian roots that has been used for a very long time. It is founded on harmony and balance in the physical, mental, and spiritual realms. In several ways, Ayurveda is thought to have tremendous therapeutic potential. Ayurveda employs a holistic approach to health, taking into account not just physical symptoms but also a person’s emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. It acknowledges the interconnectedness of these factors, emphasizing how imbalances in one area can have an impact on the others. A more thorough and efficient approach to healing may…
The first thing you should know about John Tavener’s 2005 opera Krishna is that it is actually a “mystical pantomime”. If that very idea provokes even the faintest amusement, this is not the country-house opera for you. The second thing you should know is that by the end of Krishna’s posthumous world premiere at Grange Park Opera, there was warm applause for the musicians.Rightly so. Without Ross Ramgobin’s intense, poised commitment as the Celestial Narrator, or Eliran Kadussi’s sweet, flexible countertenor as the adolescent Krishna, or the impeccably lucid, admirably agile sopranos of Rosa Sparks (the child Krishna), Nazan Fikret…

On the morning my friend Kristina died, I listened and re-listened to the last voice mail she left me. I needed to hear her voice, and the mundaneness of her 35 second message was comforting. She was sorry she’d missed my call. She’d been out for a walk. She was planning a bike ride tomorrow but would call me again before that. She really wanted to connect. I am notoriously terrible about clearing out my voice mails. I can’t bear to erase them. I have a habit of keeping at least one at all times from the people I love…

I have just returned from a month’s gallivanting around mainland China. It’s taken me 20 years to get there but it’s been worth the wait.China has to be one of the most diverse countries I have explored. And I have hit almost 90 now. The landscape is jaw-droppingly beautiful, the food culture is astonishing: in some regions it is fiery and spicy and eaten with handmade noodles, in other provinces it’s delicate, and vegetable heavy and served with rice. Chickens are eaten in the mountains (easier to raise) whereas livestock is prominent on menus elsewhere. Even the physical features of…

Sankirtan Das | HENB | Thakurnagar, North 24 Parganas (WB) | June 3, 2026:: A controversy over the placement of images of Hindu deities and revered spiritual figures on the boundary wall of a private residence in Gaighata has sparked debate over religious sentiments, private property rights, and the methods employed by activist groups to enforce their concerns. The dispute, which unfolded in the Jorapukur area of Chiknapara in Thakurnagar, was eventually resolved following police intervention, though the family at the center of the controversy claims the incident left them deeply shaken. They include professionals like store clerks, delivery drivers, servers, and healthcare workers we encounter every day. Their jobs are often fast paced, physically demanding, unpredictable, and tightly constrained by time. So how can learning professionals design best-fit solutions that support and enable frontline workers to help them perform at their best? In this episode, JD Dillon answers that question. We discuss the realities of deskless workers and what organizations need to understand to better support the people who keep everyday operations running. JD’s career…
The founding chief executive officer of Letters to a Pre-Scientist (LPS), Lucy Madden, recently shared on Linkedin that 12 companies put $180k behind the program this school year, more than doubling support from the prior school year. Madden added that about 75–100% of their corporate partners return each year, stating that this “has become a powerful, predictable growth engine for our work.” In the comments section, Double the Donation described that level of retention as “legendary,” noting that most nonprofits struggle with the “one-and-done” sponsorship trap. So how has LPS achieved this level of renewal? Madden points to part of the answer. “I didn’t…

Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) is a common hormonal disorder that affects many women of reproductive age. It leads to irregular menstrual cycles, weight gain, excessive hair growth, and infertility. While modern medicine offers treatments like hormonal therapy and medications, Ayurveda provides a natural and holistic approach to managing PCOD by addressing its root cause rather than just the symptoms.Understanding PCOD in AyurvedaAccording to Ayurveda, PCOD is primarily caused by an imbalance in the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The main culprit is an aggravated Kapha dosha, which disrupts metabolism and leads to the formation of cysts in the ovaries. Ayurveda…
I had once a talk with a college student who sat next to me on a long bus ride. She grew up in a village near Meerut, went to the local Hindi medium school and enjoyed her time in school. But when she went for higher studies, she almost gave up, as English was a big hurdle. Yet after one year struggle, she managed well. She told me that most of her college mates, who had been to English medium schools, had become atheists. Yet she loves her Hindu faith and we had a good conversation about the depth of…

When it comes to rockets, bell-shaped engines are the norm. But they’re not the most efficient shape. Engineers have relied on this design only because it avoids a known overheating risk faced by a more efficient engine. Now, though, three 17-year-olds have redesigned the nozzle of the more efficient aerospike engine to better manage heat. They’re hoping that one day their new tech might literally shoot for the stars. Devin Wanchoo, Michael Obeng and Mazon Ben Chouikha attend Governor’s School at Innovation Park in Manassas, Va. Their new work began as a way to satisfy a class assignment. “We wanted…

In the remote depths of the Weddell Sea in Antarctica, scientists have found something astonishing: the world’s largest known fish breeding colony. Spanning around 240 square kilometers, this “fish city” is home to more than 60 million nests of the icefish Neopagetopsis ionah. Each nest, carefully tended by a parent, contains about 1,700 eggs. This discovery not only reveals an extraordinary natural wonder but also highlights one of the strangest groups of vertebrates on Earth — fish that thrive without hemoglobin, the very molecule that most animals depend on to carry oxygen in their blood. Icefish and their unusual biology…
I once watched a sparrow gathering twigs for a nest. The tiny creature does not understand engineering, architecture, or destiny. It simply feels something ancient moving through its nervous system. Pick up the twig. Build the structure. Prepare for what comes next. Instinct moves long before comprehension arrives. The sparrow cannot see the future occupant of the nest, nor does it understand the evolutionary intelligence moving silently through its behaviour. Yet something deeper than thought continues directing events with absolute certainty. 🪶 Instinct & Destiny The Sparrow Gathering Twigs Humanity may be doing exactly the same thing. Across the planet,…
Cracked heels are easy to ignore. Most of us assume we just need better lotion or more time with a pumice stone. We treat it as a cosmetic problem and move on. But in traditional medicine, the skin on your feet can offer a quiet window into what is happening inside your body. In Ayurveda — one of the world’s oldest healing systems — cracked heels are often seen as a signal. They may be telling you that your body has become dry and depleted from the inside out. This kind of dryness tends to build slowly over time. And…

And for the first week, things look promising, people are logging in, starting modules, clicking through slides. Then, quietly, they stop.Research consistently shows that learners forget roughly 70% of new information within a single day when it isn’t reinforced. The dropout problem in online learning is real. But it’s not unfixable. Understanding why people leave is the first step to keeping them. The Real Reason People QuitMost organisations assume dropout is a motivation problem. The learner wasn’t interested enough. The content wasn’t engaging enough. The timing was off.But research tells a…
At the 2025 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge (Thermo Fisher JIC), the then 14-year-old Camila Isabel González-Thompson of Ponce, Puerto Rico, received the $10,000 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Award for Health Advancement. The award recognizes the student whose work and performance shows the most promise in health-related fields and demonstrates an understanding of the many social factors that affect health. Camila’s project examined blood samples from Puerto Ricans for antibodies to dengue virus and showed that the virus is endemic to Puerto Rico, helping public health officials better target interventions. Earlier this year, Camila was featured in Forbes for…

Why practice — not content — is what finally turns training into performance.
The traditional patent model relies on high sales volumes to recoup costs, a mechanism that directly contradicts the global need to conserve our last-resort antibiotics. This article by Umeshkumar explores the “stewardship paradox” and argues for delinkage models to align innovation with public health and sustainable antimicrobial use.The world’s pharmacy is currently under attack, but it is a silent, microscopic one. As a result of being both a global leader in providing affordable generic drugs, and as a country at the forefront of an increasing wave of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), India is at the centre of this growing problem. At the core of the AMR…
Most of us hardly ever think about figs. It is one of many fruits available to us. Some could take them or leave them. It is quite possible, however, that this humble fruit played a critical role in human history, and even in the very existence of humans in the first place. The edible fig we know (Ficus carica) helped sustain life for prehistoric people struggling to survive in the relatively harsh climate of the middle east. The oldest evidence of modern figs is from a site near Jericho dating 11,400 years ago. The key feature of these fossilized figs was that they…
Last week I gave you this sad scene with a mystery victim to try to identify: I thought it might be an interesting one, because when I first saw it my mind took me around the houses thinking about what it was. My first thought was actually that it had some features I associated with a European Stonechat: Male European Stonechat Saxicola rubicola image by Ron Knight, March 2013 CC-BY-2.0 But on closer inspection I realised that the bill was surrounded by red feathers rather than black, and the “black” feathers were probably not originally black, and were as a result…

The Ayurvedic Understanding: Why Your Body Loses Balance Ayurveda teaches that health is a state of dynamic equilibrium. When we face prolonged stress and pressure, three key disruptions occur: Dosha Imbalance: Your unique constitution (Vata, Pitta, or Kapha) becomes aggravated. Stress typically increases Vata (causing anxiety, insomnia, and scattered energy) and Pitta (leading to irritability, inflammation, and burnout). Ama Accumulation: Incomplete digestion—not just of food, but of experiences and emotions—creates toxic residue called Ama. This sticky substance clogs your channels, preventing nutrients from nourishing your tissues and blocking your body’s natural detoxification pathways. Depleted Ojas: Ojas is your vital essence,…

Anatomy Of A High-Performing Storytelling Podcast—Infographic The best storytelling podcast formats succeed because they are built on a clear narrative architecture that mirrors how humans naturally process and retain information. Whether in entertainment or learning design, the most effective storytelling podcasts follow a consistent structural flow that transforms passive listening into active cognitive engagement. Hook At the core of a high-performing narrative podcast is the hook (attention capture). This opening moment determines whether the listener stays or drops off. In good storytelling podcasts, the hook is not just a question or statement, but introduces tension, curiosity, or emotional relevance within…
A striking new image released by ESO captures four brilliant laser beams appearing to converge at the center of the Milky Way, creating a scene that looks more like science fiction than scientific observation. Behind the dramatic visual lies one of astronomy’s most advanced technologies, helping researchers overcome Earth’s turbulent atmosphere and obtain sharper views of the universe. How The Very Large Telescope Creates Artificial Stars The image was taken at the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) in northern Chile, one of the world’s most powerful astronomical facilities. May 1, 2026, 3:45 a.m. CT One of the most commonly seen lizards in the Southern states is the green anole, also known as the North American green anole or Carolina anole. (Its scientific name is Anolis carolinensis.) Although more than 400 species of anoles are known to science, the green anole is the only one native to the United States. Most people appreciate seeing them in their yards. Q. A type of lizard we have in Birmingham, Alabama, is sometimes green and sometimes brown. In Ayurveda, each individual is considered unique — no two people share the exact same internal composition. This distinct balance of energies or doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) that we are born with is known as our Prakruti, or natural constitution. Just like fingerprints, this constitution never changes throughout life. It defines our physical structure, emotional tendencies, and overall personality. However, as we go through different phases of life, our environment, diet, emotions, and lifestyle can disturb this natural balance. The state of imbalance that occurs as a result is called Vikruti. It reflects how our body and mind have…
After having lived in Gujarat for close to thirty of my forty-six years on this planet, I have travelled to the most remote pockets of the state. However, last month I made a trip to Patan, which is only a six-hour drive from Ahmedabad, but returned with a treasure trove of memories, having visited one of the most beautiful stepwells in Bharat. Called Rani ki Vav (Queen’s Stepwell), this ancient treasure is located at Patan, 135 km away from Ahmedabad, and offers a great experience to Indian families who want to spend a blissful day away from the vagaries of…

Despite some public concern and reports to the contrary, turbines used to produce wind energy are not responsible for any detectable adverse health outcomes, new research finds. As wind energy continues to grow as an alternative to fossil fuels, studies and media reports have suggested wind turbines can cause all manner of health problems, from sleep disturbances and irritability to outcomes as serious as suicide. To determine the veracity of these claims, Osea Giuntella, associate professor in the economics department at the University of…
Developing coconuts, in Panama. Photo by J. Touchton The May 2026 issue of our Gather and Sow newsletter is out. Coconut palms grow some of the biggest seeds on the planet, and vanilla seeds, from an orchid, are among the smallest. They are both delicious! They are also the subjects of this month’s newsletter. Just in time for Mother’s Day (May 10th this year), in this month’s Food for Thought essay (“Coconuts for Mother’s Day”), we make the case that Mother’s Day celebrations should include more coconut. The large seed size of coconuts, and the small size of orchid seeds,…
Co-author Irina Rotenko Today in Naliboki Forest we revealed one more case of lynx kitten stays with the mother in the mid-April. In the literature that advert to the question of natal dispersal of Eurasian lynx kittens we found a quite different information. Schmidt et al. (1997) stated that in the Polish part of Bielaviezha Forest (actually it is not far away from Naliboki Forest), lynx family breakup coincides with the lynx mating season in February-March, and that the dispersal of subadults (all radio-tracked subadults left the maternal home range just after separation from the mother) may be provoked by…
We are all taught a simple rule in life: if you work hard, you will succeed. But if you are reading this, you know the real world doesn’t always work that way. Sometimes, you put in more hours and effort than anyone else in the room. But the promotion, the money, or the credit goes to someone else. This isn’t because you lack talent or aren’t trying hard enough. It happens because your timing or your chart is temporarily out of alignment. When your effort gives you zero results, there are ‘real astrology reasons for failure despite hard work’. Here…

Have you ever done any research that relied to any degree on Indigenous Knowledges? How did you cite those Knowledges, if at all? It’s probably time we rethink how we engage with Indigenous Knowledge systems. In a new article published in BioScience, we — a large group of Indigenous and non-Indigenous scholars in Australia — call for a fundamental shift in how universities and scientists publish research that draws on Indigenous Knowledges (proper noun; the sum of the understandings, skills, and philosophies developed by Indigenous societies with long histories of interaction with and custodianship of their natural surroundings). Therein we…

When I lived in the Himalayas, my teachers didn’t talk about chebulinic acid. They talked about haritaki the way you talk about a trusted elder — with reverence, specificity, and a certainty built from centuries of direct observation. It took modern biochemistry to name what they were working with. Chebulinic acid is now understood to be the primary bioactive compound in Terminalia chebula — the fruit we call haritaki. As research into this herb accelerates, chebulinic acid keeps appearing at the centre of the story. Here is what we actually know. What is Chebulinic Acid? Chebulinic acid (molecular formula C₄₁H₃₀O₂₇)…

For illustrative purposes only. Credit: ZME Science/Midjourney. In 1976, scientists searching for oil and gas off the U.S. East Coast stumbled across something stranger than hydrocarbons. Beneath the salty Atlantic, fresh water trickled out of the cores they pulled up. Nobody knew quite what to make of it. Was this a one-off fluke, or a sign of something much bigger? Half a century later, the mystery has exploded into the spotlight. This summer, an international team of scientists aboard a drilling ship off Cape Cod pulled up thousands of liters of fresh water from deep under the seafloor. Expedition 501,…
Sometimes, planning is overrated. If it weren’t for happy accidents, there’d be no Post-Its or penicillin. Strangers sat down randomly at conference lunch table, sowing the magic beans for Savvy Gardening. A young guy in university residence spotted a girl drying her hair by their common-room radiator and offered his hair dryer. Reader, I married him. Taken by Artemis crew, 6 April 2026 Courtesy of NASA Leading up to this New Moon we’ve had a profoundly useful influence from the transiting Moon and Sun, as each (the Sun days ago, of course, the Moon during the Dark of the Moon time preceding the Lunar event) has quincunxed the Black Moon Lilith point, offering to bring various ignored or denied facets of the past to the surface. They’ve also semi-squared Neptune, making us uncomfortable with real-life play-acting, with those who ask us to agree to their deceptions. Now, the past (South Node) is excavated courtesy of a…
Yashtimadhu, or Mulethi, feels like one of those quiet remedies that doesn’t demand attention but still does its job gently and effectively. In Ayurveda, it’s considered a Rasayana—a rejuvenating herb—but not in an intense or aggressive way. It works subtly. Its naturally sweet taste (Madhura Rasa) and cooling nature (Shita Veerya) help soothe irritation and support healing, especially in the digestive system.Today, problems like acidity, bloating, and indigestion have become very common. From an Ayurvedic perspective, these issues are usually linked to an imbalance in the Pitta dosha, which governs heat and metabolism in the body. When Pitta is aggravated—often…

University of Houston researchers have achieved a major superconductivity breakthrough by setting a new temperature record for superconductors operating under ambient pressure conditions. The advance could eventually help create more efficient electrical grids, improved energy storage systems, faster electronics, and new technologies for fusion energy and medical imaging. Scientists from the Texas Center for Superconductivity (TcSUH) and the University of Houston department of physics reached a superconducting transition temperature (Tc) of 151 Kelvin (about minus 122 degrees Celsius). That is now the highest Tc ever reported for a superconductor functioning at ambient pressure since superconductivity was first discovered in 1911.…

You get up early, so you can arrive at your destination by sunrise (which is before 6am these days). You drive to Colonel Sam Smith Park, which is in the west end of Toronto on Lake Ontario. You lug your food, bins, scope, camera gear, and chair to Whimbrel Point, where you join the crowd on this skinny spit of land that sticks out into the lake. All this time, you’re swatting at the midges, which swarm the point in the Spring. They get in your eyes and mouth. Thankfully, they don’t bite and are just annoying. Your reward for…
February 20 – 8:53 AM PST (utc-7)– Saturn Conjuncts Neptune at 0° Aries Welcome to one of the most significant transits (astrological events) of our lifetime. This alignment is so rare that there is no ephemeris that goes back that far. ॥Hari Om॥ Narada Rishi indulged himself in the recollection of his past and profound encounter with Bhagvan Veda Vyasa during the twilight of the Dwapara Yuga. One serene morning, as dawn broke, the immaculate Bhagvan Veda Vyasa immersed himself in the sacred waters of the Saraswati River. After performing his morning rituals, he settled in a pristine, secluded spot, lost in deep contemplation. With his divine vision, the Bhagvan, endowed with knowledge of the past, present, and future, observed the gradual decline of dharma. He perceived the secret workings of Kala, the force of time, and its swift, often imperceptible…

The Celebration of Yogas In a horoscope, no single yoga can independently deliver strong results. When one yoga combines with another, that is when a true celebration of yogas begins. Many people wonder, “My planets are exalted, yet I don’t see great results. Why?”The answer is simple — combination yogas (joint yogas) produce the most powerful results. Example: Actor Sivaji Ganesan His ascendant (Lagna) was Aquarius (Kumbha). In his horoscope, Jupiter (Guru) and Moon (Chandra) are placed together in Aries (Mesha), forming a powerful Guru–Chandra Yoga. For Aquarius Lagna, Venus (Shukra) and Mercury (Budha) are positioned in the 10th house (Libra), and…

How can Spirituality be explained scientifically? Most of the people around the world know about Spirituality on a surface level. Despite originating in India, only a few countable Indians can explain it in depth. But why is it so?Why don’t every Indian know spirituality very well? It is just because of misguided, adulterated or incomplete information from such people who don’t know themselves about spirituality in-depth.Common people around the world are just like small children in the field of spirituality. They know better about their God, but they hardly know about spirituality. A perfect lesson of spirituality can only be obtained…
