June 21 – Solstice, the Sun and Mercury in Cancer
June 21, at Summer Solstice, we entered the season of water, when the Sun moved into Cancer. The Cancer Crab represents feelings, emotions, mother love, nurturing, and caring.
June 30 -Mercury Goes Retrograde in Cancer until July 26
June 30 Mercury goes retrograde at 26 degrees Cancer for 3 weeks. During this time, we get in touch with our emotional truth in our physical and emotional bodies. (Our emotional body is woven into our physical body.)
The Sun in Cancer is emotional enough. But Mercury Retrograde in Cancer for 3 weeks is going to take us on a journey to help us
- understand why we react the way we do,
- what types of situations affect us more than others, and
- the emotional logic that determines our actions and choices.
We will become more conscious of our emotional ‘mindset.’
Emotional Wounds
Forgotten and suppressed wounds around (1) security, (2) trusting our instincts, (3) feeling insecure, and (4) self-confidence in the world will be triggered.
These are wounds that take time to heal. It takes time to develop self-confidence because self-confidence is a state of being that requires an intimate relationship with ourselves.
Now with Chiron in Taurus, we have to embody – to stay present in feeling awareness in our body — when we are emotionally challenged and not escape into our thinking mind.
We are being confronted with a big challenge in our developmental growth. We can’t pray our way through it. We have to train ourselves to stay present. We have to be bold and loving to be present to ourselves.
* The rest of this blog contains my notes from the pre-recorded video class for the tenth module of The Gift of Womanhood course for July 2026 — #10a Liberate Yourself with Self-Love — Step out of Victimization and Self-Sabotage
A New Era and New Way of Being
2026 is the beginning of a new era and a new way of being. Now we have to make adjustments to cultivate a new and deeper relationship with our authentic self.
This means that we have to identify old ways of being and doing and to let go of old programs and beliefs that do not serve us anymore.
Maybe they never did! But now we become aware of what keeps us tethered to negative self-talk, low self-esteem, emotional insecurities, self-sabotage, and feeling like a victim.
A Free Will Zone and Choice
On Planet Earth, we live in the ‘free will zone.’ Exercising our free will is about how and why we make certain choices. Our will is free to the extent that we make our choices based on our truth, which is not controlled by outer influences and self-sabotaging conditioning.
How do we make choices based in self-acceptance, self-knowing, feeling worthy, and self-love?
Do we even know what choosing love is?
We must become aware of how much our choices are controlled by negative patterns and beliefs about ourselves that are based in shame, guilt, and fear.
Chiron Entered Taurus – June 19, 2026
A most useful astrological archetype has entered the cosmic stage with a new archetypal costume. In Taurus, Chiron is going to help us go deep into the healing of our self-worth.
Chiron, the mini planet that orbits between Saturn and Uranus, symbolically connects physical reality and spiritual/soul reality. This is where our body and soul meet. Saturn is the last visible planet. The outer planets (Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus) after Chiron are invisible to the naked human eye.
The Chiron Centaur
Chiron is represented by the Centaur: half horse and half human, with the human holding a cocked bow with the arrow pointed toward the sky.
Our Chiron process is about integrating our human/animal nature with our spiritual/soul essence. It is about awakening and aligning the two diminsions of our being. It is about spiritualizing matter – infusing Spirit/Divine Love into physical reality.
Chiron was in Aries for 8 years.
Chiron has just completed a 8 year tour through Aries. Major Aries themes relate to
- our identity,
- self-expression, and
- our relationship with ourselves.
In Aries, our wound is about our own existence. Do I have the right to be here? Does who I am even matter? What is the matter with me? Aries healing is about feeling that we matter and believing that are supposed to be here.
In Pisces (before Aries), the collective program was ‘How do I fit in. How can I can I be accepted?’
Chiron in Aries (and now with Neptune and Saturn also in Aries) wake us up to the longing to BE ME. We not only do not apologize for who we are, we want to get acknowledged for our uniqueness.
Aries of course likes attention, but beyond enjoying standing out, it wants to be recognized for being fully oneself. Authenticity is more important than acceptance.
Chiron in Taurus for 7 years (2026 – 2033 )
Chiron’s eliptical orbit takes about 50 years, so our Chiron return happens in our nearly 50’s. Because this is a rare transit, it is significant. Chiron in Taurus is about the Human Embodiment of Our Soul.
Taurus Awakening, Healing and Embodiment is about —
- Feeling safe in the world and in our body.
- Knowing, honoring and claiming our Self-worth.
- Manifesting in abundance of giving and receiving.
- Our relationship with our body, money, and physical resources.
- Establishing roots with and feeling at home with Mother Earth.
- Security, trusting our instincts, self-confidence in the world.
- Enjoying being alive.
Soul Knowing Is Encoded in Our Body
Taurus, the first earth sign teaches us that our soul knowing is encoded in our physical and emotional bodies. Our soul speaks to us through our physical and emotional bodies.
When we are not connected in feeling awareness to our body, our subconscious programs make our choices for us. We might believe that we make logical and safe choices, but they may not be fully aligned with who we are or what we really want and need.
To become authentic and ‘free to be me’, we must listen to our intelligent inner compass embedded in our biology. We each are encoded with an inner knowing that computes how to navigate physical reality through our intutitive and instinctual knowing.
To faciltate our awakening, we must
- be bold,
- listen to our inner voice (Gemini), and then follow it.
We don’t escape into numbness. We stay present and here in our body to know, be, and love ourself and our life! This is how we cross and build our bridge between physical and non-physical reality, which both exist simultaneously in our human being.
A Relationship with Our Body and Mother Earth
Chiron’s move into Taurus (June 19, 2026) creates an opening to restore our primal relationship with our body.
In fact, with Chiron in Taurus, it will be impossible to mentally distract ourselves from what we are feeling, or to try to hide from what we know is true by spacing out or keeping busy.
Often referred to as the Earth Mother, Taurus is about our in-the-body humanness and living in harmony with Mother Earth. We seriously need to heal our Taurus wound — mental disconnection from our body, which has resulted in
- serious abuse of our body, leading to self-inflicted discomfort, physical pain, and many avoidable diseases.
- We have distanced ourselves from the primal intelligence encoded in our body and from our inner knowing on how to survive and thrive on Planet Earth.
- The primal trust that it is safe to be here and that we can survive on Planet Earth and in our body has been suppressed or even erased. We are existing on auto pilot and being pulled around by subconscious programming. Mostly we don’t even know what we are doing or why.
- We are not fully living and are consciously half dead.
We have seven years to build an authentic and loving relationship with our body and with the Earth Mother.
Our body knows what is good for us and what makes sense to it. We do not have to guess. We have to
- listen,
- feel, and
- follow.
Taurus awakening does not happen with psychotherapy, affirmations, or mental understanding.
We can naturally awaken our Taurus gifts — self-worth, abundance, physical enjoyment, and sensual and sexual pleasure.
Taurus awakening and healing can be a natural unfoldment of a life well-lived.
How We Cross the Bridge
Chiron represents the bridge between the personal/social planets and the outer planets. Our Chiron process reveals not only how we cross the bridge, but how we build our bridge so we can sustain access to higher non-physical frequencies and still stay present in our physical earthly body.
We have to address what we have been avoiding, what we have been hiding, what we feel shamed about, and what has been unrecognized in our subconscious. We can’t leave our body and our connection with Planet Earth and cross.
A Loving Approach to Healing – Part of our developmental process.
Chiron is usually referred to as the wounded healer. We are not going to reduce our understanding of Chiron to a story about our wounds and how we heal them.
The word healing often assumes that something is the matter with us – something is broken or missing, and we have to find it and fix it. But this approach may never identify the real cause. Thus the issue may never be resolved.
We have another approach – what resolves the issue that caused the pain, which is a symptom of a deeper issue in our human experience?
Represented by the Centaur – half horse and half human, this strange creature gives us a clue – we must find what makes our being whole. How do we integrate our primal animal/human nature with our spiritual soul?
Our Chiron ‘wound’ is not an injury. The wound is not the problem.
The cause of the ‘wound’ is the separation of the two different aspects of our being. Healing is thus about reconnecting the two parts of our being, so we can become whole and at peace with ourselves.
Our pain will go away when we resolve the separation between the different aspects of our being. Integration is the healing medicine, not another pill.
Chiron healing happens in our vulnerability and bravery.
Chiron healing requires sensitivity, humility, vulnerability, honesty, acceptance, and surrender to a higher power. Chiron healing exposes what we wish to avoid or acknowledge. But getting in touch with our sensitive self and our emotions is not what is the matter with us. Our inner terrain (what we feel in our body) is what we need to develop to become more of who we are.
Our personal healing happens when our personal truth is more important to us than any fear of rejection, negative reactions, or criticism.
We are both vulnerable and brave because we can never know for sure the outcome. There is no guaranteed safe option. We cannot be in control of the outcome. Yet we know we must jump into the unknown, and we do so!
Chiron is the bridge between the Saturn rules and physical reality and the liberating unknown of Uranus. We say Chiron is the bridge, but the bridge is in our own psyche. There is no safe, visible route or instructions about how to move beyond Saturn’s rings of human physical limitations, which define what works and what doesn’t on planet Earth.
What motivates us?
What motivates us? The knowing that there is more and we want it! Being safe is too limiting, and we will never find out. The healing is in our bravery, our vulnerability, our honesty, our ability to trust, and our ability to surrender to what we do not know, but with our heart we want to know more that anything else! This is the motivating spirit of my course The Gift of Womanhood. Join me for a path that we follow together! (footnote)
Biggest Human Tragedy and Challenge – We don’t know how to live or love.
Our biggest human tragedy and challenge is that we are afraid to love. Actually we don’t know how to live in a way that we experience Divine Love as a way of life.
One of the goals and results of our spiritual practice is to expand our perceptive capacity to open ourselves to Divine Love. An awakened consciousness introduces us to (1) a deeper knowing of ourselves, (2) a new way of being, (3) a new way of choosing, and (4) a different inner conversation with ourselves.
Self-Therapy – Ho apono apono
- What can we do? How can we release old programs that we can’t simply ignore or pretend that they no longer exist?
- We can change our inner conversation. This deep re-programming involves an integrated human and spiritual process.
- One thing is for sure – We have to transform our inner conversation. To do so, we have to engage in our own self-therapy.
We can engage in the Hawaiian process called Ho apono apono.
We speak these words to ourselves.
I am sorry. I love you. Please forgive me. Thank you.
(1) I am sorry.
We take responsibility for our actions and are repentant.
It is normal to feel sorry for some of our actions and the effects they have had on others, and on our own lives.
With I am sorry, we recognize that we are human and that our human path is about experiementation. We learn by trial and error. Actually we learn by trial and results. Some results we like, and some we don’t. We learn. It is easier to make choices in the future.
We don’t have to explain, justify, or find excuses for our actions.
From Judiasm, Christianity, and Islam, we are trained to ask for redemption. Actually we can redeam ourselves with the following words.
(2) I love you. – I want to connect my human being and my soul in my heart.
We choose to wake up to love and interact from kindness, not fear, anger, or desire for revenge – both with others and ourselves!
(3) Please forgive me. – I want to make amends and clear the past.
(4) Thank you. – Our attitude is gratitude. We humbly pray for grace.
Self-Therapy – Who, what do you talk to?
Start with yourself —
- your past actions and thoughts,
- your body parts,
- your inner child,
- your maturing adult persona at every age. Get in touch with the truth, that given the circumstances and your capability at the time, you did the best you could.
Listen to your mind, body, and heart until the messages of these words reveal a conversation with your ego/personality mind.
We may hear confessions of what we don’t like about our past and the unfortunate choices we have made.
Identify both superficial and deeper levels of your truth. What past events or your reaction to certain relations contol your thoughts? In duality (the thinking mnd) we are in a conflictual relationship with ourself. The super structure is based in fear.
Journal what comes up.
Keep a journal of what comes up. Watch how your conversation evolves.
Identify your conversation around your value and worthiness.
Release what doesn’t support you with (1) acceptance, (2) forgiveness, and (3) gratitude. Remember, it is a program, not the truth.
Keep going until your conversation with yourself is based in caring and enables you to make choices based in self-appresion and self-love.
Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Practice
Our self-directive messages during our practice and during the spaces between exercises require that we be present in feeling awareness in our body, and not lost in our thinking mind. Remember that our emotional body got co-opted by fear matrix. We liberate ourselves in our heart with self-love.
Our Body Knows
Our body knows before the mind can figure out what is going on. Our body is encoded with an inner barometer that communicates with us through feeling sensitivity.
If we don’t connect with our body with a mode of communication that it understands, it feels ignored. Our life becomes a lie. Our choices are based on guess work.
Speaking these words to ourselves during the spaces between exercises communicates deeply to all parts of our being.
I am sorry. I love you. Please forgive me. Thank you.
Below is a meditation to do after practicing any Kundalini Yoga Kriya. A good one for this lesson is the Inner Anger Set, pp. 269-70 in The Gift of Womanhood.
The Rebirthing Meditation below is on page 271 in The Gift of Womanhood.
Rebirthing Med
Part 1: Sit in Easy Pose with a straight spine. Bring the hands up until they meet at the diaphragm level and interlace the fingers, pressing the palms into the body over the heart. Forearms are parallel to the ground, sticking out like wings.
Purse the lips and breathe through the mouth. Inhale powerfully and fast with such a force that the cheeks are sucked into the teeth. Put all the power into the inhale, but keep the exhale short too, allowing for about 20 breaths a minute. Continue for 2-3 minutes. To end, inhale and hold the breath, then exhale.
Part 2: Concentrate on the third eye and see a candle flame burning away your pain, wounds, the past, the present, and all negativity. Just be neutral and keep the intention of the light of your soul burning away all the negativity through the candlelight. Continue for 3-5 minutes.
To end, inhale, hold the breath and look deeply into yourself. See a pure, positive image of the light and beauty of your soul. Exhale and repeat two more times, and then sit quietly and enjoy the Light shining in and around you. Enjoy the vibration of Light.
Allow everything that comes up. You are clearing the subconscious and the past and awakening the light of your soul.
