Book recommendation of the week: A Good Hard Look, by Ann Napolitano. A recently married banker’s friendship with a well-known writer (Flannery O’Connor!) changes a small town in unexpected, and painful, ways. I wasn’t sure I was going to stick with it, but then the middle happens and everything changes. (Amazon, Bookshop)
