The Virgo New Moon offers practical insights that may help you settle into a new routine or find order amidst the chaos.
It’s also our first lunation since the end of July that’s not an eclipse, so the Virgo New Moon also marks a return to more regular celestial rhythms too.
With multiple factors helping nudge you towards a manageable and familiar schedule, I hope that you’re able to use the reset of the New Moon in Virgo to freshen up your intentions for the weeks ahead – perhaps setting your schedule and clarifying projects from now to the end of the year.
Mars in Cancer: A Push via the Sextile
The New Moon receives a sextile from Mars in Cancer, so there’s an undertone of energy and drive. It is Mars in Cancer so you might need to include regular breaks for rest, care and nourishment even as you start put your plans in place.
Mercury in Libra: Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork
The ruler of the New Moon, Mercury, has just settled into Libra, where it will help highlight the value of discussion and teamwork for the next two- and a-bit weeks.
Libra is the last sign Mercury will be in before it’s retrograde in Scorpio coming up in October. It might be worth having any important conversations – especially if you need to find common ground or agree on guidelines for collaborating with others – before the end of the month, when Mercury will drop into the deep, ruminating waters of Scorpio.
Mercury will aspect both Saturn in Aries and Jupiter in Leo on its tour through Libra so expect at least one heavier but necessary conversation, as well as an opportunity to finalise plans for a future adventure or learning opportunity.
Settling into Regular Routines
I’m writing this quick New Moon in Virgo update as I sit at the airport, ready to head home from UAC. While I am personally ready for regular routine, my heart is overflowing with warmth after so many wonderful connections and interactions over the past week.
More to come once I settle in back home.
